The log saunas on the roof terrace are carved by hand with Pielaveti. Log carver Jaakko Holma also carved poems and thoughts on the walls, which you can enjoy while relaxing on vacation. From the panoramic windows you can admire the beautiful Ruskeasuo plantation garden and the scenery of Helsinki.
Between saunas, it’s nice to take a dip in the cold pool or relax in the jacuzzi. Inside, there is also a larger relaxation pool, a steam sauna, a small fireplace lounge and a pool bar.
VALO’s own restaurant, Bistro ELO, serves wonderful summer dishes. The menu includes delicious fish dishes, the best vegetables of the season, and domestic organic & local food. The taste is guaranteed by ELO’s own charcoal grill.

Nature is also close in Helsinki, with several lush gardens, such as the over 10-kilometre-long forested green area of Helsinki Central Park, right next to VALO. The city’s seafront and nearby islands are easily accessible by ferry connections!
