In VALO’s latest customer interview, Julia Kaukinen, the entrepreneur of Kaukinen Consulting, shares her experiences with VALO Work’s services.

Kaukinen Consulting is a career consulting and job search coaching agency for executives, specializing in professional branding for executives and job searches for top management. The service focuses on personal online coaching, group-guided workshops, and occasional live events.
The company consisted of a core team of three people in 2022, and the number of collaboration partners, including CV writers, proofreaders, and HR professionals, had grown to 15 people. In 2022, the company had a total of 86 clients.
Julia Kaukinen, the founder of Kaukinen Consulting, has been a familiar face at VALO in 2022, as she began using Workin’s services in the early part of that year.
“In the spring of 2022, I worked alone at home. I was looking for a place where I didn’t have to commit and could come when I felt like it. Especially during the pandemic, it was nice to see both familiar and completely unknown people. I ended up at VALO Workin in March of the same year.”
In early 2023, Kaukinen Consulting established its office in Leppävaara, Espoo, which is why the customer relationship with VALO Workin was temporarily interrupted. However, Julia, who has been in VALO for a long time, still recommends Work’s services to anyone looking for flexibility.

In addition to workspaces, Kaukinen Consulting has used VALO’s other services extensively in other areas.
“I used the service about once a month, and we also had team meetings about once a month. Sometimes on weekends, we also organized photo days for our clients. VALO has a restaurant, various sizes of meeting rooms, coworking space, warm parking, and a hotel. We held team days and customer workshops in different spaces.”
Julia Kaukinen sees working in VALO Workin as particularly useful in how the quality facilities help focus and improve productivity.
“There is always an excuse not to do something at home because of ‘laundry’, ‘cooking’, ‘cat’, or ‘children came home’. I needed a space where I could focus on recording videos, creating marketing materials, or simply moving something forward.”
