What is the Dutch 4TU Impact Challenge?
“The Dutch Impact Challenge is a competition between promising Startups of the four Technical Universities (Enschede, Wageningen, Delft and Eindhoven) in the Netherlands. During the year, they have several assignments, and in the end, the eight finalists are invited to do their final pitch in front of the jury in Helsinki. And visit SLUSH”, describes Peter Vroom, the CEO of Westbound Travel.
The final event of the Dutch Impact Challenge was arranged at VALO for the second time.
“During the final, each startup has the last chance to pitch its idea and business model to the public and jury. This year we also added a “Walk of Fame” during which other Startups had a chance to present one of their achievements to the audience.”
Dutch Impact Challenge ended up having their event at VALO mainly through online presence.
“VALO was one of the hotels that appeared in my online search. During our first visit, we discovered that the hybrid hotel perfectly matched our expectations.”
Versatile use of spaces
Dutch 4TU used VALO’s facilities in great variety.

The excellent experience also means that Dutch 4TU will probably be arranging their Slush event at VALO in the future.
