Best Price Guarantee when booking directly with us

This means that if you find a lower price online compared to VALO’s booking channels, we’ll match it by lowering our price and giving you an additional 10% discount on your hotel booking! To offer this benefit, the following conditions must be met.

• Reservation Process: To initiate a claim under our Best Price Guarantee, you must first make a reservation on valo.fi or VALO web app. Our reservations team must then validate the claim.
• Exclusions: Please note that the Best Price Guarantee does not apply to certain price types, including but not limited to:
  • Special prices for members of specific programs or associations.
  • Special offers, gift cards, or limited email offers.
  • Separately negotiated prices such as group or company rates.
  • Package prices include additional amenities.
  • Prices from sites offering anonymous hotels or auction sites.
  • Unpublished or private rates requiring login.
• Comparison Rates: For a claim to be eligible, the comparison rate must be generally bookable on a website other than valo.fi within specific timeframes and meet various criteria regarding room type, guests, currency, prepayment/refund policies, and taxes.
• Refunds and Discounts: If your claim meets the conditions, please inform us via email at reservations.helsinki@valo.fi. Upon confirmation, our reservations team will verify the claim and provide a lower price with an additional 10% discount. The price difference will be refunded to the original payment method for prepaid reservations.
• Conditions: It’s important to note that only one claim for compensation per overnight stay is allowed, and if a new reservation number is provided, it must be presented during check-in. Additionally, the Best Price Guarantee is subject to change at our discretion, and disputes will be handled individually.

Guaranteed availability

Our website always guarantees availability. Not all OTA channels (Online Travel Agencies) guarantee availability. They simply offer a lower price to secure the booking, but they request confirmation from the hotel first. If there is no availability, they will come back to the customer and cancel the booking. This does not happen on VALO’s website.
