The newest VALO sales team member is Petriina Lesch, who started her new job in April. Read Petriina’s thoughts on the first weeks in her recent work community and a new industry.

Many new employees have started their careers at VALO over the last few months. Our sales team grew to four members again in the spring when sales manager Petriina Lesch joined as a new member. It was somewhat of a dream come true for the new sales professional.
“I had been a customer at VALO several times and was impressed with the facilities and the concept. Excited about the concept, I dreamed of making sales for this hybrid hotel. This dream came true in April when I started as a sales manager on the fantastic VALO team.”
Before VALO, Petriina had extensive experience in sales and customer service roles.
“I have been working in customer service and sales roles since I was young. Early on, while working in customer service, I noticed that customer interactions often lead to additional sales. This has led me from customer service to consumer sales and B2B sales roles.”
Petriina Lesch has previously gained experience in the finance industry. However, the sales manager said the transition to a new work team and a new sector had gone very smoothly.
“In my opinion, and I believe also in the opinion of the rest of the team, everything has gone well. In a very short time, it has started to feel like I have known the team members for a long time, if not always. It’s a great atmosphere and an amazing team!”
Ruut Eerikäinen, who leads the sales team, also receives praise for her excellent integration.
“I have been very impressed with how my supervisor welcomed the new employee. Ruut is a strong professional and has provided practical and close learning about how things work in the industry and within the company.”
The excellent start also applies to the new industry, which has captivated the new sales manager.
“During the job interview, I was told that I would likely be drawn into this industry if I were chosen. The promise has truly come true, and the industry has captured me. I will enjoy staying in this industry for a long time. In short, I am thrilled about the new work community and the hospitality industry.”
In addition to a good work community, various encounters have played an essential role in the early stages of Petriina’s VALO career.
“The best part of my job is the daily encounters with colleagues and customers. At VALO, I have been involved in many wonderful things that I find truly inspiring. I always enjoy coming to work here.”
According to Petriina, the services offered by VALO are ones she stands behind wholeheartedly.
“VALO’s services are genuinely pleasant and suitable for many customers. There are many different customer segments.”
The enthusiasm for the work is also fueled by the positive feedback received.
