VALO’s Rooftop Terrace in Helsinki will host its opening ceremony on 25th of May!
On the roof terrace, you can spend the most memorable evening of the summer, enjoying the sunset. Bar SUO’s bartender Ville serves refreshing summer drinks, while DJs Miika and Jere and saxophonist Antti Hynninen take care of the music.
VALO’s Rooftop Terrace in Helsinki will host its opening ceremony on 25th of May! The terrace opens at 4 pm and can be reached by the VALO Hotel’s lift, which is located near the steps of the courtyard.

DJ Miika, a show DJ and presenter with more than 30 years of experience, has done more than 1,500 gigs all around Finland, from Hanko to Kittilä, from Rymy-Eetus to Mummotunneli and to the AfterSki party at Tahko Panorama Bar.
As his specialty, Miika is known for his energetic show DJ presentation which guarantees great parties which last until the light signal. At Miika’s gigs, the audience often becomes performers themselves, be it the legendary tanec letkis, Zorbas or even limbo competition.
During his more than 25-year career, DJ Jere has played in almost all of Helsinki’s trendiest restaurants and clubs, as well as at foreign events. His sound is timeless and contemporary in art. The music portfolio has tremendous treasures, from disco to rhythmic music classics, suitable for stylish cocktail parties, casual public events as well as smoky clubs.
At the legendary Bassoradio, Jere had her own program for over 15 years. He has also curated the music lists of Youtube Music and Finnair, and played in both Kiasma and Provinssirock. Jere’s playing style, energy, and connection to the audience keep viewers and listeners entertained.The music selections offer both surprises and familiar songs that are suitable for everyone, regardless of age or gender.
Antti Hynninen is a saxophonist, composer, and producer, and a pioneer of DJ and Live Sax culture in Finland. He can also be seen at gigs with Tuomo Prättälä, Tuomari Nurmio, Janna HurmerinTa, Felix Zenger, and the Finnish jazz top-notch Ricky-Tick Big Band.
Hynninen has been a very busy musician in recent years and has played on almost 40 records and produced 4 albums as well as numerous vinyl and digital singles under the name Rebeat. The saxophonist also works as an active composer of stage music: the music has already been created for more than 20 circus, dance, and theater performances.
