The Finnish innovative multi-purpose concept VALO Hotel & Work was awarded Finland’s Leading Hotel for the third consecutive year in Sardinia late Wednesday evening, October 22, 2025. VALO representatives Minna Hurme and Joonas Tuomivaara were present to receive the award.
The World Travel Awards annually recognize hotels worldwide across various categories and are highly regarded within the travel industry. Public voting plays a significant role in selecting the winners.

VALO Hotel & Work is a multifunctional hotel and workspace concept that uniquely and sustainably combines accommodation and work environments. The first VALO opened in Helsinki in autumn 2020. The concept is built around an extensive range of services, versatile use of spaces, and flexibility.
Attracting international attention, VALO has been recognized for its multifunctionality and sustainability, having received honors such as Marie Claire UK’s Sustainability Award, the BREEAM Excellent certification, the Sustainable Travel Finland label, and the Green Key certificate.
