VALO Hotel & Work has ambitious environmental goals. As part of VALO’s commitment to reducing emissions in line with our sustainability strategy, we will be making changes to our policies regarding towels and minibars starting in March. At the same time, we will update our payment methods to be fully digital.
As part of VALO Hotel & Work’s goal to improve our environmental impact in line with our sustainability strategy, while simultaneously developing a fully digital customer experience, the following changes will take effect from March 1, 2025:
Due to the decreasing use of cash payments, we will discontinue cash as a payment method starting March 1. This change will speed up transactions and enhance security. It is also part of VALO’s goal to create a fully digital customer experience.
Towels are one of the most environmentally impactful products we use. One of our 2025 environmental goals is to reduce unnecessary towel consumption. Therefore, complimentary towels will no longer be available for work customers starting March 1, 2025. We encourage you to bring your own towel from home!
If you forget to bring a towel, you can rent one for €5 per day. Towels can be rented from the reception or the coworking area’s cashier. The change doesn’t affect hotel and wellness guests.
Minibars will be removed from our Smart and Comfort rooms starting March 1. This change supports VALO’s sustainability goals and helps reduce unnecessary energy consumption. Instead, we want to offer a wider range of products that better meet our customers’ needs at the VALO Shop on the first floor. VALO Shop is open 24/7 for your convenience.
If you need to store medication or other items that require refrigeration, please contact our staff, and we will arrange proper storage for the duration of your stay.
